  1. ⁠About MijiFarms
    MijiFarms is an online fresh produce store supplying quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other farm-fresh products. We operate from our warehouse in Diani and deliver directly to our customers.
  2. ⁠Eligibility
    By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are placing the order under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  3. Products
    • We strive to provide fresh, high-quality produce.
    • As fresh produce is naturally variable, the size, shape, colour, and appearance of products may differ from the images shown on our website.
  4. Product availability depends on seasonal supply and stock levels.
    Pricing
    • All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES).
    • Prices may change without prior notice.
    • The price shown at checkout is the price payable for your order.
  5. Ordering
    • Orders are subject to product availability.
    • Once an order is placed, you will receive confirmation that it has been received.
    • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to stock shortages, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or circumstances beyond our control.
  6. ⁠Substitutions
    If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we may:
    •  Contact you to suggest a suitable alternative of similar quality and value; or
    • Refund the unavailable item if no suitable replacement is accepted.
      We shall substitute unavailable items only with the customer’s approval.
  7. ⁠Delivery
    •  Free Delivery is available within our designated Diani service area.
    • Deliveries outside Diani may be available at an additional delivery fee, subject to confirmation before your order is processed.
    • Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and may vary due to weather, traffic, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
    •  Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring someone is available to receive the order.
    • If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information or the customer is unavailable, a redelivery may be arranged and additional charges may apply.
  8. ⁠Quality Guarantee
    We carefully inspect all products before dispatch.
    If you receive:
    • Damaged produce
    • Spoiled produce
    • Missing items
    • Incorrect items
      Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and include clear photographs where applicable.
      After reviewing your claim, MijiFarms may:
    • Replace the affected item;
    • Issue a refund for the affected item; or
    • Provide store credit.
  9.  Produce Sourcing
    MijiFarms offers both conventionally grown produce and produce sourced from farmers who use organic farming practices.
    Where products are identified as being grown using organic farming practices, they are sourced from farmers and suppliers who cultivate their produce without the routine use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Unless explicitly stated, these products should not be interpreted as being ‘certified organic’.
    To preserve product handling and traceability, produce grown using organic farming practices is packed separately from conventional produce.
  10. Returns
    Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, we do not accept returns after delivery unless the products are damaged, spoiled, or delivered incorrectly.
  11. ⁠Cancellations
    • Orders may be cancelled before they have been prepared for dispatch.
    • Once an order has been packed or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
  12. ⁠Customer Responsibilities
    Customers agree to:
    • ⁠Provide accurate delivery details.
    • ⁠Be available to receive their order.
    • ⁠Inspect the order upon delivery.
    • ⁠Store produce appropriately after delivery.
    • ⁠Wash all fresh produce before consumption.
  13. Payment
    We accept the payment methods displayed on our website. Orders may be subject to payment verification before processing.
  14. ⁠Promotions and Discounts
    • Promotional offers are subject to their stated terms.
    • Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
    • MijiFarms reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotions at any time.
  15. ⁠Limitation of Liability
    While we take every reasonable step to provide quality products and timely delivery, MijiFarms shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failure to fulfil orders resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, supplier shortages, road closures, accidents, strikes, or other force majeure events.
    Our liability shall be limited to the value of the products purchased.
  16. Privacy
    We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through our website is used solely for processing orders, arranging deliveries, communicating with customers, and improving our services. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
